ZERO – What’s in a name? As a kid my sketchbook and basketball were both a means of escape and creative exploration. When I first sketched “ZERO” I wanted him to hold some of that story. Whether it’s learning to play a sport or how to paint, the universal starting point of any endeavor is ZERO. To me, he’s a reminder of where this all started – a kid enthusiastically embracing an adventure and working towards the things that lit him up.
This particular color way references “money ball” used in three-point contests and was the original color way of the ABA basketball in the 1970's.
