DANKO is well known for his multidimensional works on wood that feature layered panels that extend from the traditional 2D plane. With the large scale of these BRICK PLATES, DANKO is infusing the gravity and wonder back into the humble brick. These BRICK PLATES are his first sculptural offerings. They are meticulously hand-crafted on wood panel with solid wood studs and are painted entirely by hand, as evidenced by visible brush strokes when viewed up close.
